If you are worried that I do not have any Star Seller "badges", it is for two reasons, the first, an order was collected by the buyer rather than posted to them, as they were local and I could not provide Etsy with a tracking number for that item, consequence, I lost that "badge". The second reason. Etsy has a £ threshold of sales and I fell a couple of pounds short of that threshold, consequence I lost all of the Star Seller "badges".
I always package items well, ship on time, with a tracking number and respond to customer enquiries, etc quickly. Take a look at my shop reviews to see the many 5* feedback from my customers.
Please note: I do not ship to PO Boxes and now to Northern Ireland (due to all of the upcoming new EU/UK requirements to send goods to NI) orders with a PO Box or NI address will be cancelled (Etsy does not provide a way to prevent receiving orders to both at present).

3-month layaway plans for items over £100 for buyers if requested.
Due to the drastic decline of sales here on Etsy over the last six months, I am monitoring the situation closely, and I may halt selling on Etsy soon. All existing and new inventory will be listed at some point on my website www.gallery-antiques.co.uk shipping will be domestic (UK) only from my webshop, whereas on Etsy shipping will be to the UK, USA, Australia, and Canada.

Gift wrapping and packaging
I do not gift-wrap items.
All items are carefully wrapped in bubble wrap, large items will be shipped in boxes, and smaller items like jewellery, and silver spoons are carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard and are shipped in jiffy bags.
Cigarette card albums are shipped in Manilla board-backed envelopes.
Books will be well packed and shipped in jiffy bags, very large books will be shipped with more protection.
If you still want more information on how your item will be packaged for dispatch, please do not hesitate to contact me.
How quick are orders dispatched?
I usually post daily Mon-Sat - except for UK Bank Holidays when the Post Office/Royal Mail is closed.
Post is dispatched each day around 2 p.m., except on Saturdays, when the post is dispatched by 9 a.m. Any orders after these dispatch times will be dispatched the next working day.
Any orders on a Sunday will be processed, packaged and dispatched on Monday, except if it falls on a UK Bank Holiday.
Orders received on a UK Bank Holiday will be packaged and dispatched on the next working day.
Are you open to offers on an item listed in your shop?
I am open to sensible offers on most items, please contact me via Etsy messages only with the price you would pay for an item.
Remember, if it is a high-priced item, I can offer a layaway plan where you pay for the item with three monthly instalments.
Do you ship to a PO Box and will you also accept a change of address after a purchase has been made?
I do not ship to PO Boxes, this is stated in each listing. If you order an item and your address is a PO Box, I will have to cancel the order.
Please do not ask me to ship to a PO Box, I will not do so, under any circumstance.
If a purchase is made and I receive a message to request the item be sent to a different address, I will refund the buyer and cancel the order, as I have to ship to the payment address to be covered by Etsy Seller Protection Policy. Please make sure, the correct address is selected when purchasing an item. Thank you.
Are customs/import duties charges included in the item/shipping price?
For users in the USA, Australia and Canada, Etsy collects GST (goods and sales tax) and remits this on behalf of sellers.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be before bidding or buying.
Customs fees are normally charged by the freight company or collected when you pick the item up. These fees are not additional delivery charges.
Please be aware, VAT is not included in the prices shown and I am not VAT registered to collect VAT.
Returns
Please contact me first before returning or thinking of returning an item, as a return may not be necessary, depending on the circumstances.
If the item is damaged in transit, return postage will be refunded. Items are to be returned within 14 days.
If it is a change of mind purchase, items can be returned to the seller, but the buyer bears the cost of return postage. Items are to be returned within 14 days. A refund will be issued upon receipt, minus the original postage costs.
If the item is not returned in its original condition the buyer is responsible for any loss in value and this amount will be deducted from the refund amount.
If the item I receive back is different from the item sent to the buyer, then no refund will be issued.
What happens if a buyer does not arrange re-delivery/item is returned to sender?
In the event of a failed attempted delivery, in which the buyer does not collect their item(s) from the Postal Service or arrange a re-delivery of their item(s) and the item(s) are sent back to the sender (myself) eventually, upon receipt of the item(s), I will issue a refund, minus the original postage/shipping costs.
This also applies if a buyer has used an incorrect address when ordering. It is up to the buyer to ensure the correct address is specified.
Any request to change the address is not permittable, as to comply with Etsy seller protection, a seller has to send it to the address on the order.
Do you still post to Northern Ireland with the new EU/UK trading requirements being implemented?
Unfortunately, I will have to stop posting orders to Northern Ireland due to all of the upcoming new EU/UK requirements to send goods to NI

Can I mark the item as a GIFT to avoid customs charges?
No, and please do not ask us to mark your order as a 'Gift' or fabricate the value, as it is illegal, and I would be committing an offence (fraud) if I did.
Marking the order on Etsy as "GIFT is for when the item is meant as a gift for someone and is also for the packing slip as it removes the item cost, so the recipient does not see it.
